Procurement is a critical operation for PSC to maintain the quality of seeds and ensure effective distribution.

PSC has developed the largest Seed Multiplication System for basic and certified seeds through a Public/Private Partnership model.
The system is also a channel for disseminating the latest technology to farmers through advisory services.
It involves around 1,500 contract growers and serves as a model for Cooperative/Corporate farming.

Varietal Demand Survey: Demand surveys are conducted for different crops.
Target Fixation: Multiplication and procurement targets are set in Agricultural Experts meetings.
Multiplication Plans: Issuance of multiplication plans for registered growers.
Acreage Verification: Verification of acreage for crops grown by registered growers and submission of lists to FSC&RD.
Field Inspection: Crop inspection by FSC&RD.
Procurement Plans: Issuance of procurement plans.
Sampling and Compliance: Procurement after seed sampling by FSC&RD, ensuring regulation and quality standards are met.
